Join the Friends of Princeton Open Space (FOPOS) for a trail crew volunteer session on Thursday, August 14th, from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
Volunteers will work under the guidance of the FOPOS stewardship staff to help monitor and maintain the trails at the Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve. Volunteers will assist with trail maintenance tasks such as clearing overgrown vegetation, monitoring for fallen trees, and picking up litter. No prior experience is necessary... just a willingness to get your hands dirty and make a positive impact!
Meetup Location: Mountain Lakes House Parking lot, 57 Mountain Ave, Princeton NJ, 08540. Be sure to drive down the long paved driveway entrance to the Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve, marked by a series of black mailboxes. The gravel parking lot is on your left about a 1/2 mile down the driveway.
