FOPOS June Nature Walk // 6.28.25

  • Friends Of Princeton Open Space 57 Mountain Ave Princeton, NJ, 08540 United States (map)

Join our summer stewardship interns on a guided nature walk as we celebrate National Pollinator Month! As we wander the trails, we’ll uncover the hidden world of native pollinators, from buzzing bees and fluttering butterflies to surprising pollinators you might not expect.

Learn how these small but mighty creatures help keep the ecosystem thriving by pollinating the wildflowers, shrubs, and trees around us. We’ll stop along the way to observe pollinator hotspots and the plants that depend on them, sharing fun facts, and maybe even spotting a few pollinators in action.

Meetup Location: Mountain Lakes House. The Mountain Lakes House parking lot is within the Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature preserve located at 57 Mountain Ave, Princeton NJ, 08540. Be sure to drive down the long paved driveway entrance to the Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve, marked by a series of black mail boxes. The gravel parking lot is on your left about a 1/2 mile down the driveway.
