Give Thanks to Nature Photo Contest 2021
One of the most challenging tasks for our committee is to choose the ‘top three’ photos submitted every year. With a record number of visitors to the Billy Johnson Mountain Lakes Nature Preserve we’ve seen some extraordinary captures of nature. We continue to be amazed by the beauty of nature that is found throughout Princeton's beloved Mountain Lakes Preserve.
Something we can all agree on is spending time outdoors in nature benefits the mind, body and spirit. Feeling in need of a reset? Opt Outside!
Speaking of #OptOutside, we thank REI Princeton for their continued support + sponsorship of the photo contest each year — and to JaZams for gift cards for 11-16 photographers. Most of all, we thank everyone who submitted a photograph for our photo contest.

The images below are the First, Second + Third Place photos in the Adult Category. Winners received a gift card from photo contest sponsor, REI, for $100, $50 and $25 respectively.
