The Institute Woods and The
Charles H. Rogers Wildlife Refuge,
A bird walk through the
Institute (for Advanced Studies) Woods and the Rogers Refuge
at the time of the peak of the
spring migration of warblers.
The walk will be led by
experienced birder Thomas Poole.

The Institute Woods and
fields,
A walk through the Institute
(for Advanced Studies) Woods including some of
the adjacent fields. at transitional time when the plants in the woods are
putting forth their final blooms
before the leaves block out the sun
and those in the open fields
are just beginning to bloom.
The walk will be led by
Elizabeth and Henry Horn of
Elizabeth Horn is a botanist
and expert on local wildflowers;
Henry Horn is Professor of
Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and
has studied tree sucession in the Institute Woods for over thirty years

Woodfield Reservation,
A walk focusing on the trees
of Woodfield Reservation led by
Professor John Kuser of
Prof. Kuser
is an expert in trees and an experienced leader of nature walks.

The walks are given by the
Education Committee of the Friends of Princeton Open Space,
a nonprofit organization
dedicated to preserving open space.
