Mt. Lakes House (57 Mountain Avenue, Princeton Township)
Please join us to celebrate the opening of the J. Seward Johnson, Sr. Trail. The Trail runs from Mountain Lakes Preserve across the southern end of Coventry Farm to the Great Road bikepath and the athletic fields at Farmview Fields Park. It includes a long boardwalk across wetlands, which was funded by a generous grant from the J. Seward Johnson, Sr. Charitable Trust to FOPOS. The views from the boardwalk are gorgeous!.
The meeting will be held at the Mountain Lakes House, located in the Mountain Lakes Nature Reserve on Mountain Avenue (just off Route 206) in Princeton Township. You can park at Community Park North or Farmview Fields and walk to the boardwalk. After a short dedication ceremony at the boardwalk portion of the Trail, we'll have refreshments overlooking the lakes at Mountain Lakes House, followed by a nature walk led by our naturalist, Stephen Hiltner.
Please RSVP by May 15 to Nancy Bowman at 921-2772, or email NancyTBowman@aol.com . We hope you can come and bring the family!
