D&R Canal Cleanup
Saturday April 9, 2005, 9:30 am - early afternoon

Rain or shine!
We'll assemble at 9:30 am, coordinate our efforts, and then celebrate our results with a hoagie picnic from 1-2 pm, right after the cleanup!
 
     
  Target Area We'll focus on the canal from Port Mercer (Province Line Rd.) to Harrison Street.    
     
  Provided Sponsors will provide garbage bags, disposable gloves, some grasping tools and some canoes and kayaks. Additional canoes may be rented from the Princeton Canoe Rental facility nearby, and others may walk alongside the boats.   
     
  What to bring Warm weather gear, especially wool and waterproof items. Boots or shoes ready for mud. Rain gear if it looks like rain.  
     
  You Can Help! Volunteers needed...Meet great people! Enjoy the outdoors, and serve your community. It would be helpful, if you can join us, to let us know in advance:
